I’ll probably get grief about this one!
It doesn’t get much cheesier than an X Factor Live gig, and I did feel like I was in the world’s biggest karaoke bar, but from a photography point of view this was a fun gig to shoot. I’m no musical snob and I enjoy shooting most gigs, so I was happy to cover this one for Birmingham Live!
Even my mom knows who most of these people are!
I’ll be cleansing my soul tonight by shooting Korn 😉

Dude, Cheese or no Cheese, it’s a great set of images from what was probably a well presented show.
Favourite is probably (here goes!) the close up of Mischa B(?) – great lighting, colour, expression.
Although I’ve got grief for saying this before, McFly have been one of my favourite bands to shoot in the past. Their lighting at the gig last week was a bit troublesome (lots of strobes) but for energy, crowd involvment, facial expressions and overall performance, McFly are up there with the best!

Hey Steve – great picks… been in the press pit at the MEN a few times myself. Carnage brushing shoulders with those press guys.. well done as it’s hard work even getting past them 🙂
