Wild Cats & Swine Flu

Well, I’m glad that week’s finally over!

Those that follow me on Twitter will know that I’ve been sucker-punched by suspected swine flu since Monday when I just about struggled through photographing Jack White’s latest musical project, The Dead Weather. I’m not somebody who gets sick very often at all. This was the sickest I’ve been in years. In fact, I struggle to think of another time I’ve been so ill for so long.

Canceled shoots, rescheduled appointments, missed gigs by great bands.. and my email inbox is bursting at the seems. Not the way I like to operate at all!

I’m not 100% well yet but I’m feeling much better and hope to be back in the studio tomorrow to play catch up. Thanks to everyone that’s been understanding and patient. Thanks to the people who’ve sent messages. Thanks mostly to my own private nurse, Evelyne, who’s been amazing, despite feeling pretty ill herself some days.

Anyway, there were two other people who kept my spirits up this week – Elliott & Isaac. There was no way we were going to miss out on some Halloween fun with my boys. Would you be scared if these two trick-or-treaters showed up at your door?? 🙂
