Wethele Manor is a venue I’ve photographed at a few times now and weddings there always have a relaxed and fun vibe to them. The venue itself dates back to the 16th Century when it had a range of both large and small brick outbuildings, some stables, a piggery, an old dairy, a cart shed and a large granary. It is thought that the house itself, from fairly humble beginnings has been extended in the 18th Century with a larger Georgian three story frontage which gave the house the much grander approach visible today.
Amie and Tom were married at St Mary’s Church near Leamington Spa before heading to Wethele Manor for their reception.
Some of you may recognise our groom. Tom recently became World Superbike Champion. He’s also a lovely guy who recommended M&S teabags to me and we’ve never gone back!
I loved shooting this wedding. They’re a really fantastic couple, Amie looked AMAZING and the whole day was laid-back yet stylish and, at times, quite emotional.
The day ended with one of our fave wedding bands, Cartoon Kings who always know how to rock the party.
2nd shooting duties executed nicely by the man they call Woz.
Big thanks to Amie & Tom for having us along to cover such a great wedding.
