There are some stunning wedding venues just outside of Montreal and Parc Historique Pointe-du-Moulin is right up there with the best of them. Located at the end of l’Île-Perrot, Pointe-du-Moulin is the perfect reception venue for a rustic wedding ceremony by the water at the intersection of the St. Lawrence River and Lac Saint-Louis, right next to our old mill built way back in 1705.
The newly built reception room is located a 2-minute walk from the ceremony venue. Three sections of the wall are made of transparent curtains that open the room to the peaceful nature of Pointe-du-Moulin. It’s a venue that will help your guests relax and enjoy the day and really lends itself to more informal weddings, which are the kind I love most as a wedding photographer.
As a wedding photographer, I’m drawn to outdoor wedding venues and locations that are surrounded by picturesque countryside. I also love places that are close to the water and Pointe-du-Moulin has some gorgeous areas for photos that are right on the water.

Below is a short slideshow of some of my favourite recent wedding photographs… Take a look. Turn the sound up!
I’m a Brit living in St-Lazare near Montreal with my wife, Evelyne and our three boys, Elliott, Isaac and Jonas! Evelyne and I met in the Alps in 2003 when Evelyne thought she was a cool snowboarder and I thought I was a superstar DJ. We got married in 2007 in Cornwall, England and moved to Canada in 2014.
I photographed my first wedding in 2006 and have now shot almost 500 weddings, mostly in Canada & the UK, but I absolutely love travelling anywhere in the world. I enjoyed it when I started but love my job now more than ever.
