Gerrards In Paris

This week was a bit special. And I usually hate the word “special”!

For a long time I’ve had a secret plan in mind to surprise my mom with a trip to Paris. She’s never been, and it’s been on her bucket list for a long time.

Wednesday morning I surprised her with a Pocket Guide to the city, and before lunch we were at the airport.

We stayed Wednesday and Thursday night and, in just over 2 days, we walked the length of the city more than once, went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, visited the Louvre, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Montmartre and Moulin Rouge.

Good timing also meant we caught the amazing Ben Howard at Alhambra, which holds just 600 people.

It was a treat to spend some quality time with my mom, and to explore this great city with her. Something I’ll always remember….

Oh yeah… and I took my camera 🙂
