So, this week we’re saying goodbye…
Since May 2008 we have called The Custard Factory in Birmingham our home. It’s been such a cool place to have our studio. We really have loved it there and we’ll miss it but the time is right for us to jump ship.
Our reason for moving is partly because the boys are now in school from 9am tip 3:15 so we have no little people vying for our attention, pulling wires or hi-jacking the computers while we make a cup of tea.
On top of that, many of our clients live far from Birmingham so can’t visit us anyway. Skype will become our best friend.
So, yes, Steve Gerrard Photography is coming home. Literally. Our morning commute will now be from the bedroom to the living room. Rush hour traffic will only happen if the kids leave their toy cars on the stairs.
This week we load a van with furniture from the studio and we close the door to 401 for the last time. 2014 is gonna be a busy but exciting year. We have even more exciting plans for later in the year.
Watch this space….
End of an era, really enjoyed visiting you there Steve, can’t believe it was almost 2 years ago!
All the best guys
Such a cool space!! Glad I got the chance to visit! Good luck Steve 🙂
Interesting for a few reasons !! So… do they have someone ready for the space ?
Yes Dave, there is a make-up school moving in this weekend.
Best of luck with your move & hope your new working environment is everything you wished for! Best of luck xx
