We’re a month into 2016 already so I figured I’d better get on and share some of my favourite images from 2015. Hopefully it’s worth the wait…
2015 was my first full year living in Montreal but I spent a lot of it on planes shooting weddings in England, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, Wales and South Africa. It wasn’t always easy being away from Evelyne and the kids so much but I loved getting to visit some amazing new places and hanging out with some truly lovely people. I can’t explain how grateful I am to all the people who trust me to document their wedding day for them. It’s something I’ll never take for granted.
We bought a great house this year and look forward to a few of our UK friends and family coming to visit. The kids have amazed me with how fast they’ve learned the french language (it’s mainly french here in Quebec). After a year they’re close to being fluent! So cool. I have some catching up to do….
On the music side, I shot some fantastic artists in 2015 and hope to do much more in 2016. The music scene here in Montreal is so good. And the music photographer community has been totally welcoming to me since I moved here. But it’s also great to still shoot some bands when I’m back in the UK, and to catch up with photographer friends over there too.
So, grab a coffee, sit back and enjoy a selection of photos from a very good year. I’ve included a few personal ones at the end too.
Here’s to a happy, healthy and inspiring 2016 to anyone taking the time to read this 🙂 Cheers!
