It’s ten years ago today….
I was in Chamonix, France where I’d been booked to DJ at a club called Deluded. The day before the gig, the promoters took me out for a few (read A LOT) of JD & cokes. We visited a few bars before ending up in the only place open late on a Monday night.
There, I had my eye on a girl…
After a few drinks, I was deluded enough (see what I did there?!) to approach this girl and start a conversation. She wasn’t really in the mood for being approached by slightly drunken Englishmen. Somehow, my stupid jokes made her smile…
The following night she came to the club and I watched her dance while I DJ’d. Afterwards, I went to say hi…
6 years ago today…. 4 years after we met… we had a small legal ceremony with ten guests and that girl from a club in Chamonix became my wife.
Later that year we had another wedding… A proper wedding! 🙂
Since then, we’ve had three gorgeous boys, built a successful business together and have so many memories that we’ve shared together.
And I’ve never loved that girl more than I do today….
She’s amazing.
Happy Anniversary Evelyne. I love you x

10 years ago, you DJ’d on my rooftop in the U.S. It was a beautiful night, great view of New York City, and you killed it till 7am. I will never forget that night, and I want to thank you for the memory!
I met my husband in a club too, had four little people with him…. he now lives with my EX-best friend…you’re lucky and your story restores my faith in love!
