Those of you that follow me on Twitter or Facebook might remember my mad weekend a couple of weeks ago where I travelled 300+ miles and did 3 engagement shoots in one day before shooting an Essex wedding the next day!

I’m breathless just thinking about it!

The first day started blissfully enough though when I met up (for the first time in fact) with Michelle & Lawrence for their shoot in Bury St Edmunds. The weather was glorious, as you can see, and Michelle had packed a picnic for later in the shoot.

We started in this amazing field with a huge tree right in the centre…

Their wedding isn’t until December but I already know it’ll be one of our fave weddings of 2010.

Just don’t mention the keys to the Mercedes! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Hi Steve,

    Really like these shots.
How do you decide where to do your shoots? Is it somewhere that the clients choose?

    Keep up the good work.

    Thanks guys :)
Gareth, I like to leave it up to the couple wherever possible, as it’s good to shoot somewhere that means something to them, which is exactly what happened with this shoot.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks sooooooooooo much… you did a fantastic job! You are the king of colour!

Can’t wait to show our friends and family.

  8. Just LOVE these…the colours are amazing and what a great couple – she must be a stylist …..the picnic, flowers etc. …..amazing! Fascinated by the lighting in 1 and 4……..were you using a reflector? Already looking forward to their wedding pics!

I know I am bias but I have always said you are a fantastic looking couple and this proves it. These photos are absolutely fabulous I cannot wait to see how the wedding photo’s turn out.

    Love Mum xx

  10. Hey Rosie
The lighting in 1 & 4 is actually just simple on camera fill flash. I rarely use reflectors just because they’re awkward when I’m shooting on my own.
