Rain & Scotland. The stereotype was something we hoped to disprove on Karen & Scot’s wedding day.

Unfortunately, the stereotype remains cast in stone after we spent the day watching the skies, checking the weather on iPhones and waiting for a break in the skies so that we could head outside for portraits and group shots.

Having said that, the consistent rain didn’t dampen any spirits at this fantastic wedding. Karen & Scot were great to hang out with and by the time we left, long after midnight, we’d made a whole new group of friends.

Luckily, the rain did ease for a little while so we did get chance to make the most of the fantastic scenery right outside their venue, Orocco Pier in South Queensferry, near Edinburgh.

Karen & Scot live in Dubai so planned the whole wedding from thousands of miles away. No easy task!

2nd shooting on the day was my old bearded mate, Lee Allen.

Yeah… errr.. don’t ask!

I couldn’t possibly blog the photo that was taken immediately after this one!

Thanks so much to Karen & Scot for inviting us north of the border to share such a fun day with them. We loved every minute… despite the rain!

Big thanks to Lee for being my right hand man on the day too. Cheers bud.

What fantastic pictures. Clearly was a very happy day with everyone smiling. Of course the ( we all dropped pencils and had to bend over to pick them up ) photos would have been epic but i understand why not here 😛

Great night time shots of the couple, Steve….and the look on the faces of those grooms men indicates what they are up to…you don’t need to see the next shot…really well done!
